The council is about you. If you have anything to say about our school that you think needs to improve, tell us. We will try to reply as soon as possible, and most likely, we will work on your problem within the council meetings.

ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion that me and some other year sevens have thought about. We were wondering if we could have more water fountains (maybe at the top of the mall and one by the yr 7 lockers (g Block)) we also would also like you to think about cup dispensers with plastic cups to be at the side of the fountain which makes things much more convenient for the students (& we don't Have to get our mouths wet!)

We have recentley had a student drop in table, and here are what people said could improve our school:
ReplyDelete1) Five people have asked for a full six weeks in the summer break. Also to have more similar holidays to other schools in the Bradford area
2) Two peeple have asked for the heating schedule to be reviised, so that it is constant in the winter and off throughout summer
3) Three people would like to have a wider range of uniform choice, possibly including an academy cardigan which could be suitable for both genders
4) A number of people would like to change the rules on:
-makeup
-jewellry
-colour of shooes
5) Five people would like more space in the KS3/4 planners, as there is a lack of room for homework space
6) Six people would like to have bigger lockers as they are quite cramped because they have to store their books, PE and bags inside it.
7) 14 people have requested the old lunch times back, as they are too short for two year groups to get their lunch in and the years 8 and nine also have to split their lesson in half to have lunch
8) Two people would like to have the day shortened
9) It has been requested for the common room to be improved
10) The choice of music played should be given to the pupils
11) At the moment we only have three non uniform days a year and it has been requested that we have more, such as one per term
12) It has been requested that the chairs used in classrooms to be replaced with comfier ones
13) People would like to see a wider range of food served throughout the week in the canteen
14)It has been requested that we have the current vending machines replaced with the products used in the previous ones and possibly with more popular drinks brands
15) Better facilities have been requested, particulary the P.E and I.C.T facilities
16) It has been requested that the library stock more popular fiction books
17) People have asked that staff are more lenient with their homework
18) Many students would like to see the school repainted and the library to be refurbished
